\nIn the gym of Primary School No. 4 with Sports Departments and the Sports Championship the name of Otylia J\u0119drzejczak in \u017bory was held a seminar summarizing the work
\nas part of the project entitled “Comprehensive actions to improve the energy efficiency
\nof the buildings of Primary School No. 4 and Technical School No. 1 in \u017bory”.<\/p>\n

As part of the project planned energy modernization of the buildings of two schools located in \u017bory, and the exact scope of the investment resulted from the characteristics
\nof the specific object and energy audits.<\/p>\n

The following people were present at the seminar: Adrian Lubszczyk – Head of the Department of Promotion, Culture and Sport of the \u017bory City Hall, Joanna Szerzy\u0144ska-Grabowska – Eco-advisor of the City of \u017bory, Waldemar Karolczuk – Supervision Inspector from the Investment Department of the \u017bory City Hall, Anna Gawe\u0142czyk-Kretek – Director of Primary School No. 4 with the Sports Departments and the Sports Championship the name of Otylia J\u0119drzejczak, Aneta Polok – Director of Technical School No. 1. the name of Nicolaus Copernicus University, Anna Nowacka – Zielone Szkie\u0142ko Foundation, as well as teachers and students of Primary School 4.<\/p>\n

As part of the meeting, it was possible to learn about the progress of individual work in schools.
\nAt Technical School No. 1 the name of Nicolaus Copernicus has managed to insulate the roof using styrofoam , along with raising the chimneys and firewalls and replacing sheet metal flashings, gutters and ventilation pipes so far, insulate the walls with styrofoam and plaster, replace external window sills, downpipes with water drainage to the rainwater drainage system, renovate the roof over the entrance door, entrance stars, install thermal and waterproof insulation of basement walls and replace the lightning protection system, modernize the central heating installation by replacing devices in the heating substation or replacing the internal central heating installation with replacing radiators.
\nIn Primary School No. 4, the existing thermal insulation on the gable walls was dismantled, devices mounted on the facade were dismantled, windows were carved out of the wall, wall flashings and downspouts were dismantled. The construction site was marked and the cover plates were reinforced with chemical anchors. Installation of window joinery and insulation works is in progress. Styrofoam boards were glued together with doweling.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, a presentation on energy efficiency and broadly understood ecology was prepared for students. After the official part was prepared leaflets, notebooks, pens and bottles promoting the project entitled “Comprehensive actions to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings of Primary School No. 4 and Technical No. 1 in \u017bory” for all those present.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the project is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, increase the share of energy produced from renewable energy sources, reduce primary energy consumption and increase public awareness of energy efficiency.<\/p>\n

The city of \u017bory concluded an agreement with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw to co-financing this project from the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 under the program: “Environment, Energy and Climate Change”, program area: Energy.<\/p>\n

The total value of the project is PLN 7,277,919.70<\/strong>.
\nThe city obtained funding in the amount of PLN 4,152,242.80<\/strong>.
\n– from the EEA Financial Mechanism: PLN 3,529,406.38<\/strong>.
\n– from the state budget in the amount of: PLN 622,836.42<\/strong>.
\nThe expected completion date of the project is April 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
